Angeleen's Kimono

Heres to *madman1455 for giveing me the idea to put Angeleen in a Kimono. XD

I really did want to draw her again, but I was worried that next one wouldn't look like her. So how did I do?

I MADE A NEW FRICKIN' RECORD ON THIS ONE!!!

From the time I started the sketch to the saved png was LESS THAN ONE DAY!

I sketch itself took about 3 hours to do, drawing and inking in all. I then got it scanned and was so hyped as to how it turned out I started to work on it a little.

At first I was just going to clean it up, then I started on the black n' white flats for it, then I might as well do the colors for it, THEN I started trying to get the colors for the wings right and just from habit started to shade. So I started to work on it a little more, and a little more, before I knew it the pic was halfway shaded! I was going to quit for the night but I really wanted to see if I could finish that night so I didn't stop until 1:00am.

I really wish I could do some half decent japanese kanto. For all you Okami nuts out there (I know a few of them, their watching me O_O ) you'll know the symbol in the corner reads "heaven". And I really thought cherry blossom petals blowing in the background would look really pretty, but I didn't have any T_T, so I used the nexted best thing.
